Top Coworking Events for Fall 2019

Not sure what coworking events to attend over the next couple of months? This Fall, there are many where you can hear from industry experts, take part in an “unconference,” and get a sneak peek at different spaces and offices.

Here are the top conferences and meet-ups for your calendar:

GCUC Global Coworking Unconference

When: 23 to 24 September 2019

Where: 200 Aldersgate, London, UK

GCUC holds its renowned “unconferences” all over the world, where attendees choose the topics of discussion. This year, it’s coming back to London and building on its European presence.

Mixed in with the unconferences, there are keynote speeches, networking events, panel sessions, a VIP dinner, and awards ceremony.

Coworking & Coliving Conference South East Europe (CCCSEE) 2019

When: 9 to 11 October 2019

Where: Kombank Hall, Belgrade, Serbia

According to the event’s website, “Despite being recognized as an evolving and, at times, a turbulent region, South-East Europe has always kept a local flavor for exchange of ideas, knowledge and culture.” 

CCCSEE focuses on the dynamics between people and communities. It features more than 40 speakers with a range of panel discussions and keynotes covering everything from algorithms to social entrepreneurship. 

CREtech New York 2019

When: 16 to 17 October 2019

Where: Dock 72, Brooklyn, New York, U.S.

This year, CREtech expects to connect over 2,000 industry professionals from around the world. Programming features speakers from companies such as Tishman Speyer, Deloitte, The We Company, JLL, Related Cos., and EQ Office.

The conference focuses on technology and innovation in the field of commercial real estate, and will feature expert panels, discussions and interviews on two stages, themed “Innovation” and “Keynote.”

Smart Workspace Design Expo

When: 17 to 18 October 2019

Where: Taets Art and Event Park, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

With more than 500 attendees anticipated, the Smart Workspace Design Expo kicks off with a range of pre-conference site visits to Microsoft, Danone, and WeWork. There are two masterclass streams, one focusing on “performance” and the other on “purpose.”

There are also several less conventional features, including a relaxation oasis, silent disco sessions, and morning meditation sessions.

WORKTECH19 San Francisco

When: 29 October 2019

Where: Mission Bay Conference Center, San Francisco, U.S.

After checking several cities around the world off the list, WORKTECH brings its workplace-oriented forum to San Francisco.

The event – hosted by research and events company UNWIRED – will bring together professionals from fields such as real estate, tech and architecture. Topics of discussion will include the impact of emerging technologies on the workplace, human-machine cooperation, and more.

GCUC Canada

When: 29 October to 1 November 2019

Where: 789 Yonge Street, Toronto, Canada

GCUC Canada first came to Toronto in 2015. Five years later, it’s returned with a bigger and better program and a broad range of topics covering collaboration and the future of work.

This year’s Canadian coworking event features four full days of keynotes, unconferences, performances, and workshops. A series of coworking tours are also scheduled for the last day with the locations yet to be announced.

Coworking Europe Conference 2019

When: 13 to 15 November 2019

Where: Stadium PGE Narodowy, Warsaw, Poland

With more than 50 speakers and panelists, the Coworking Europe Conference features a self-guided tour of the city alongside a jam-packed agenda.

There are up to four streams to choose from, including unconference slots and topics such as tomorrow’s smart cities and today’s real estate market.

Workplace Transformation Summit 2019

When: 28 to 29 November 2019

Where: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This year’s event is focused on innovation but the organizers are already making it clear that innovation is not exclusively associated with technology.

With 16 speakers and 70+ guests, the program focuses on the future of HR, digital transformation, and talent management.
