The firm\u2019s new fully renovated office includes the entire 24<sup>th<\/sup> floor, while the rest is located on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 23<sup>rd<\/sup> floors.<\/p>\n<p>The lease transaction was arranged by Newmark Knight Frank (NKF), whose Executive Managing Director,\u00a0David Kluth, revealed that the firm also explored the possibility of relocating. However, DLA Piper ultimately decided to maintain its long-term commitment to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/commercial-property\/us\/ca\/los-angeles\/kpmg-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KPMG Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDLA Piper has enjoyed its tenancy at\u00a0550 Hope\u00a0for the last 12 years and while we explored relocating to a new location, the firm decided to remain on a long-term lease in favor of the building\u2019s central location, convenient parking, image, and identity at compelling economics,\u201d\u00a0stated Kluth.<\/p>\n<p>The new space was leased following DLA Piper\u2019s recent acquisition of Liner LLP, a Los Angeles-based boutique law firm.\u00a0\u201cOur new office will reflect DLA Piper\u2019s continued commitment to an expanded foothold in Los Angeles,\u201d added Jackie Park, co-managing partner of DLA Piper in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0KPMG Center, located at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/commercial-property\/us\/ca\/los-angeles\/kpmg-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">550 South Hope Street<\/a>, is a 590,207-square-foot, 28-story Class A tower.
