The new lease will allow the hedge fund to maintain and slightly expand its presence within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/office\/us\/ny\/manhattan\/midtown-manhattan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hell&#8217;s Kitchen neighborhood<\/a>, and to benefit from the building\u2019s advanced technology infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to move our business operations to 11 Times Square later this year. The increased square footage and ability to design the space to our requirements in a state-of-the art building was an exceptional opportunity to create a customized work environment to serve our clients and support our growing business in the years ahead,\u201d Matt DesChamps, COO of Kepos Capital, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s corporate base currently encompasses 17,000 square feet of space on the 44<sup>th<\/sup> floor of the New York Times Building, located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/commercial-property\/us\/ny\/new-york\/the-new-york-times-building\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">620 8<sup>th<\/sup> Ave<\/a>. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2018\/03\/hedge-fund-kepos-capital-inks-20k-sf-lease-at-11-times-square\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Commercial Observer<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em> the alternative investment firm plans to relocate its headquarters in August.<\/p>\n<p>Kepos Capital\u2019s new home at 11 Times Square has managed to attract a plethora of high-profile tenants from a wide array of industries, including finance, IT, entertainment, and marketing. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardimatrix.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Yardi Matrix<\/em><\/a> data, the high-rise houses 29 tenants, including Bank of America, E-Trade, and BT Americas. The building\u2019s office space is anchored by prominent law firm Proskauer and tech giant Microsoft, while the retail space is anchored by Lionsgate\u2019s indoor entertainment center.<\/p>\n<p>The LEED-certified tower is among the most technologically advanced commercial buildings in Manhattan.
