The firm will join local company Pinnacle Financial Partners, which announced in June that it would anchor Southwest Value Partners\u2019 (SVP) 35-story office development.<\/p>\n<p>Bass, Berry &amp; Sims PLC will occupy the top eight floors of the tower, which broke ground just last month. The law firm\u2019s lease will include roughly 180,000 square feet of class A+ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/office\/us\/tn\/nashville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nashville office space<\/a>. With a future address of 201 Platform South, the tower will be adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Nashville and the two Amazon Nashville towers. Upon completion, the trapezoidal-shaped building will encompass 650,000 square feet of office space and roughly 28,000 square feet for retail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have a 100-year history of investing in the growth and vitality of downtown Nashville,&#8221; said Todd Rolapp, managing partner of Bass, Berry &amp; Sims. &#8220;We are excited to continue this tradition by relocating to Nashville Yards, a premier location with a vibrant environment that allows us to meet the evolving needs of our people and our clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cary Mack, managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, added in a prepared statement: &#8220;Bass, Berry &amp; Sims is one of the preeminent law firms in the Southeast and nationally, and we couldn\u2019t be more enthusiastic about their decision to relocate their headquarters to Nashville Yards. Earlier this year, the developer announced its first \u201cfounding partner\u201d agreement with Pinnacle Financial.
