A Cushman &amp; Wakefield team of Brian Gale, Ryan Holtzman and Andrew Trench worked on behalf of the property owner, while Donna Abood and Mark Robbins of Avison Young represented the tenant.<\/p>\n<p>CI Financial previously signed a lease for 20,000 square feet of office space on the tower\u2019s 48th floor. The initial deal, closed last year, included an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/blog\/ci-financial-lease-brickell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">office lease expansion option<\/a> for an additional 45,000 square feet. As a result, the corporation has chosen to expand its future U.S. headquarters with an additional floor, occupying a total of approximately 40,000 square feet of premium <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/office\/us\/fl\/miami\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miami office space for rent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the public statement of lease, this news further solidifies 830 Brickell as a destination of choice for financial, professional services, and global firms looking to either establish or grow their presence in South Florida. Indeed, notable tenants on the roster at 830 Brickell include global tech company Microsoft \u2014 which signed a 50,000-square-foot lease for its Latin American regional headquarters \u2014 and private equity firm Thoma Bravo, which recently announced plans for a 36,500-square-foot office in the building.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c830 Brickell already enjoys a reputation as Miami\u2019s most desirable and best located trophy office tower, and CI Financial\u2019s commitment to expand its space at the building reinforces the confidence we\u2019ve seen from high-end office users and global businesses seeking a location in South Florida,\u201d said Vlad Doronin, chairman and CEO of OKO Group. \u201cOur team has drawn from our collective experience in the luxury hospitality industry to bring five-star-hotel-inspired features, amenities and services to 830 Brickell that have lured top-tier companies looking for a best-in-class, urban setting in Brickell\u2019s prestigious financial district.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 55-story tower is still under construction. Developers OKO Group and Cain International estimate that the project will be completed later this year. Designed by architecture firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, and with interiors by Italian architecture and design company Iosa Ghini Associati, the building incorporates top-of-the-line wellness features and technologies, such as ultraviolet technology in air filtration, ventilation, and water purification systems, as well as touch-free fixtures and contactless entry\/exit points.<\/p>\n<p>On-site amenities are also slated to include a rooftop bar and lounge with a five-star restaurant that\u2019s positioned to showcase expansive views of Miami and Biscayne Bay; a world-class health and wellness center; conference facilities; an outdoor terrace; cafe\u0301s; and street-level retail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith its unparalleled workplace experience, prime location and trophy stature, 830 Brickell continues to reaffirm its position as the preeminent office building in the South Florida market,\u201d said Jonathan Goldstein, co-founder and CEO of Cain International. \u201cIts success reinforces our global investment thesis of combining hospitality, amenities, services and experience to create the best destinations in the world.
