The Charlotte, N.C.-based bank will relocate its staff from its current offices at 711 Fifth Ave. to occupy 100,000 square feet in the Related Companies-owned tower.<\/p>\n<p>The $3.8 billion skyscraper \u2014 which occupies an entire block at the\u00a0northwest corner of 33rd Street and 10th Avenue \u2014 is part of the Hudson Yards mega-project on the far West Side. Notably, 50 Hudson Yards will be the tallest of the structures erected by Related. Designed by Foster + Partners, the property will feature 94 elevators and generous floor plates and be able to accommodate 500 or more workers per floor. In addition to dedicated, ground-level lobbies, the building will also feature common sky lobbies and outdoor terraces. Other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialsearch.com\/news\/developers-top-out-3-8b-manhattan-skyscraper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amenities<\/a> include executive valet parking, as well as\u00a0direct access to the No. 7 subway.<\/p>\n<p>The 2019 merger with\u00a0BB&amp;T Corp.\u00a0and\u00a0SunTrust Banks\u00a0landed the newly formed Truist in its previous headquarters at 711 Fifth Ave. \u2014 Nightingale Properties\u00a0and\u00a0Wafra Capital Partners\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/office\/us\/ny\/manhattan\/midtown-manhattan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">office space in Midtown<\/a> that\u2019s also known as the\u00a0Coca-Cola Building. Software company ServiceNow also recently increased its presence in the building to about 50,000 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Even before construction began on 50 Hudson Yards, the building was already attracting the attention of major players.
