The company will hold the same footprint (roughly 121,000 square feet spread across six floors) within the Nuveen Real Estate-owned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/office\/us\/fl\/miami\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miami office building<\/a>. A Cushman &amp; Wakefield team comprised of Brian Gale and Edward Quinon represented the landlord, while CBRE\u2019s Todd Lippman and Shay Pope negotiated the deal on behalf of the tenant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecuring a lease renewal of this magnitude with Holland &amp; Knight LLP \u2014 the largest lease by square footage transacted in Brickell in the last five years \u2014 reaffirms the appeal of 701 Brickell as a leading business address in Miami,\u201d said Cushman &amp; Wakefield Vice Chairman, Brian Gale. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to have helped Nuveen maintain a high occupancy rate in this newly renovated trophy asset. However, last year was particularly successful with <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2023\/06\/holland-knight-701-brickell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">nine agreements<\/a> reached for a total of 71,292 square feet of office. Aon, EFG Capital and Blackrock likewise renewed their commitments with Nuveen, while Point72 Asset Management and Apollo Global Management also signed new deals at the 685,835-square-foot building.\u00a0 Currently, the property is 96% occupied.<\/p>\n<p>Built in 1985 and recently subject to an award-winning renovation, 701 Brickell is a LEED Gold-Certified and Energy Star-labeled building. The property features a newly renovated lobby, a conference facility, a fitness center and covered parking.
