Verve Talent & Literary Agency has signed a lease for a new headquarters in Hollywood: It\u2019s moving into a 53,000-square-foot space at the Lincoln Property Company (LPC)-owned BA\/SE campus, in what is shaping up to be one of the largest Los Angeles office space<\/a> leases in 2023.<\/p>\n

CBRE\u2019s Jeff Pion\u00a0led the negotiations on behalf of the tenant, while the landlord was represented in-house by\u00a0Kent Handleman\u00a0and\u00a0Douglas Brown.<\/p>\n

The move marks a significant expansion for Verve as the agency is currently located at a Douglas Emmett property near Los Angeles\u2019 Miracle Mile and Museum Row.<\/p>\n

\u201cGiven its prime location in the heart of Hollywood and its creative campus environment, we saw this as an opportunistic investment with tremendous upside as the market recovers,\u201d said\u00a0Rob Kane, executive vice president of LPC\u2019s Southern California operations.<\/p>\n

Completed in 2015, the 261,000-square-foot BA\/SE campus located at 6555 Barton Ave. and 959 Seward St. was acquired by a joint venture between LPC and Goldman Sachs in 2020 from J.H. Snyder. The partnership dished out $186 million<\/a> for the LEED Gold-certified property and then proceeded to upgrade it with new amenities, including the addition of a food and beverage kiosk; spacious outdoor patios and gathering areas featuring built-in seating; EV parking; bike racks; and on-site showers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve since renovated the exterior of the property and added new features that enhance the campus vibe, including a variety of comfortable and convenient areas for tenants to meet clients, host events, and connect with colleagues. Verve\u2019s decision to bring their headquarters to BA\/SE represents significant forward momentum for the property as we aim to bring it back up to full occupancy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lincoln\u2019s project management team will be handling the interior buildout of Verve\u2019s headquarters. The space will be designed to reflect Verve\u2019s culture and values, and it will provide a collaborative and creative environment for its employees.<\/p>\n
