The Alexandria Center for Advanced Technologies at The Woodlands \u2014 located on 12 acres at 8800 Technology Forest Place \u2014 features the area\u2019s first purpose-built, Class A laboratory structure.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugural building of the campus covers 123,392 square feet and is a redevelopment project anchored by Nurix Therapeutics \u2014 a San Francisco-based, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in protein modulation research for the treatment of cancer and other challenging diseases. Nurix has leased approximately 47,000 square feet within the building. Originally comprising five buildings across 260,950 square feet, the campus was acquired by Nurix and Alexandria in December 2020 from Lexicon Pharmaceuticals. Alexandria now holds full ownership of the property, while Nurix occupies the main redeveloped building, which has achieved LEED Gold Core &amp; Shell and Fitwell certifications.<\/p>\n<p>Designed by Gensler, the Alexandria Center for Advanced Technologies at The Woodlands has been transformed with a wide range of amenities, including modern conference and event space; a spacious courtyard and event lawn; a wellness and fitness center; and on-site pickleball courts. This new campus is also conveniently situated near top academic medical centers and the George Bush Intercontinental Airport.<\/p>\n<h2>TMC Helix Park Campus<\/h2>\n<p>Another exciting life sciences project by Alexandria is currently under construction in Houston. The TMC Helix Park Campus, located in the Texas Medical Center district, will span 5 million square feet of life sciences space across 37 acres.<\/p>\n<p>With a successful track record since its establishment in 1994, Alexandria specializes in developing Class A\/A+ properties in life sciences campuses. Its cluster model, inspired by Harvard Business Professor Michael E.
