National design\/build firm ARCO Design\/Build (ARCO) recently celebrated the grand opening of its new office space in downtown Charleston<\/a>, S.C. The new location at 7 Radcliffe St., Suite 200, incorporates 6,000 square feet of office space and comprises the entire second floor of the building.<\/p>\n

The strategic downtown location at the heart of Charleston\u2019s business district overlooks King Street and marks an expansion of operations for ARCO by supporting its growing team and enhanced client services. Featuring design elements that pay tribute to Charleston\u2019s architectural heritage, the space has refurbished wooden floors and locally inspired decor. On-site amenities also include a golf simulator and dedicated entertainment spaces that were designed to enhance functionality for both client meetings and team collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur expansion into downtown Charleston represents a strategic investment in a market that is integral to our Southeast regional growth,\u201d said ARCO President, Eric Thompson, who oversees Charleston, Charlotte, and Greenville operations. \u201cThe port\u2019s connectivity to major industrial highways creates unique development opportunities. The talented Charleston workforce has been instrumental in serving our diverse client base across multiple sectors, which remains a cornerstone of ARCO\u2019s business.\u201d<\/p>\n

ARCO\u2019s team in Charleston experienced roughly 20% growth in the previous year and plans on expanding further in 2025. In particular, the firm\u2019s plans for this year include diversifying its market focus beyond traditional industrial warehouses. While maintaining its strong position in the industrial, industrial outdoor storage (IOS), and self-storage sectors, ARCO also plans to leverage its design-build expertise to serve clients in life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and commercial and entertainment.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is to help Charleston businesses plan proactively for growth,\u201d said Chris Nonneman, vice president at ARCO Design\/Build Charleston. \u201cWe focus on connecting directly with end-users who need new facilities or expansions and improvements to their existing space. Our design-build model gives companies one point of contact throughout the entire process, locking in project pricing before permitting begins and providing budget certainty that often prevents costly redesigns.\u201d<\/p>\n

ARCO\u2019s successful deliveries include high-profile industrial projects, such as the Port City Center Phase 1 (a multi-building industrial park redevelopment totaling more than 646,000 square feet); a 21-acre IOS development on Bryhawke Circle; and a specialized, 41,750-square-foot, conditioned warehouse for RMS Beauty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
