[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Gilbane Building has reached an agreement with Atlanta-based real estate investor and manager Jamestown for a 27,000-square-foot office at Ballston Exchange \u2014 a mixed-use project in Arlington, Va.\u2019s Ballston area offering retail, dining and office spaces.<\/p>\n

Gilbane Building, which already has an office at 1100 N. Glebe Road (owned by Monday Properties and situated less than a mile northwest of Ballston Exchange) will consolidate its operations into the new location<\/a>. The exact size of its current office is unspecified, but the move is slated for 2026.<\/p>\n

Located at\u00a04201\u00a0and\u00a04121 Wilson Blvd., Ballston Exchange boasts a prime location with direct Metro access and provides tenants with numerous amenities, such as indoor and outdoor public spaces; concierge services; and an event venue. Additionally, Jamestown has equipped the development with high-end shared tenant amenities, including a comprehensive, 10,000-square-foot conference center designed to meet the demands of contemporary businesses.<\/p>\n

The current owner first acquired Ballston Exchange in 2015 from Dweck Properties in a transaction worth $220 million. Since then, the building has been thoroughly renovated and converted into a mixed-use property that currently houses retail tenants \u2014 such as Orange Theory Fitness, CorePower Yoga, El Rey, Grazie Grazie, SWTHZ, Tend, Chopt and CAVA \u2014 as well as office tenants, including Agricultural Retailers Association, Booz Allen Hamilton, The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)\u00a0and Amentum.<\/p>\n
