The Newmark retail team overseen by Chairman of Global Retail, Mark Masinter, will work closely with Newmark\u2019s Retail Vice Chairman, Karen Bellantoni, in addition to Jackie Totolo, Pierce Thompson, and Nick Masinter.<\/p>\n<p>A core component of its $2.5 billion revitalization of THE PENN DISTRICT campus, Vornado is in the initial stages of creating a cohesive, street-level retail experience along both sides of Seventh Avenue between 33<sup>rd<\/sup> and 34<sup>th<\/sup> streets. Newmark will assist in developing this corridor to complement the existing anchors \u2014 Macy\u2019s and Primark \u2014 as well as the Moynihan Retail Corridor, which serves as the central spine of the Moynihan Train Hall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough our redevelopment of THE PENN DISTRICT, we have thoughtfully curated a diverse blend of local and nationally owned restaurants, cafes, and shops that offer something for all workers, residents, commuters, and visitors who experience the neighborhood on a daily basis,\u201d said Glen Weiss, executive vice president and co-head of real estate at Newmark. \u201cWe have methodically remade THE PENN DISTRICT as a 24\/7 neighborhood for every occasion and every taste. The success of our transformative work is evident across all corners of the neighborhood. In partnership with Mark and the Newmark team, we will make THE PENN DISTRICT retail environment New York\u2019s next big event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Primark\u2019s flagship store, totaling about 78,000 square feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/retail\/us\/ny\/manhattan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manhattan retail space<\/a>, is set to open this spring at 150 W. 34<sup>th<\/sup> St. At the new Moynihan Train Hall, Vornado has curated a diverse dining scene anchored by Avra Estiatorio.<\/p>\n<p>Vornado also expanded and redeveloped Penn Station\u2019s main underground passageway (the Long Island Rail Road concourse), which is now lined with a mix of national and local dining options and retailers. Closing traffic on the stretch of 33<sup>rd<\/sup> Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues created Plaza 33 \u2014 an open and versatile pedestrian area that\u2019s an ideal place to meet, relax,
