{"id":51594,"date":"2026-07-31T07:48:21","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T04:48:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/blog\/?p=51594"},"modified":"2026-07-30T12:48:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T09:48:54","slug":"link-logistics-buys-texas-industrial-properties-dfw-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/blog\/link-logistics-buys-texas-industrial-properties-dfw-austin\/","title":{"rendered":"Link Logistics Nabs Texas Industrial Portfolio in DFW &#038; Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New York-based logistics and real estate investment company Link Logistics recently announced the addition of a two-building industrial portfolio to its assets.<\/p>\n<p>A leading operator of last-mile industrial real estate and warehouse properties, the company acquired two infill industrial properties located in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, markets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>450 Airline Drive in Coppell, Texas \u2014 Located in the DFW Airport submarket, the property incorporates more than 291,000 square feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/industrial\/us\/tx\/dallas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dallas warehouse space<\/a> and was reportedly fully leased at the time of sale.<\/li>\n<li>2401 Double Creek Drive in Round Rock, Texas \u2014 Located in close proximity to Interstate 45, this property incorporates 61,111 square feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/industrial\/us\/tx\/austin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Austin, Texas, industrial space<\/a> and was also reportedly purchased at 100% occupancy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The acquisition builds upon what was an already established presence in both markets: The company has more than 30 million square feet of warehouse space across\u00a0Dallas-Fort Worth\u00a0and more than 7 million square feet across the\u00a0Austin\u00a0metro area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese properties complement Link Logistics\u2019 existing portfolio in two strategically important submarkets where we already operate at scale,\u201d said Laura Hyde, managing director, Investments, Link Logistics. \u201cThe DFW Airport submarket offers proximity to major air and rail infrastructure, while Round Rock provides access to the growing Central Texas corridor, a region benefiting from continued semiconductor and advanced manufacturing investment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis addition aligns with Link Logistics\u2019 strategy of investing in high-quality industrial assets in supply-constrained submarkets with strong fundamentals,\u201d said Andrew Goodman, senior managing director, investments, Link Logistics. \u201cThese properties provide additional exposure to markets where population growth and business expansion continue to support demand for well-located logistics space and reinforce our conviction in Texas as a long-term growth market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to data analyzed for our latest monthly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.commercialcafe.com\/blog\/national-industrial-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">national industrial report<\/a>, the Dallas-Fort Worth market had the largest construction pipeline in the country. Developers here had more than 31 million square feet in June, which represented 3.1% of stock.
