Full-service financial institution Northwest Bank recently announced plans for a new corporate headquarters. Currently located in Easton, Ohio, the bank\u2019s headquarters operations is slated to relocate to Bridge North, a new, mixed-use development by the Daimler Group in Dublin\u2019s Bridge Street District.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to become part of the Dublin community,\u201d said Louis J. Torchio, president and chief executive officer of Northwest Bank. \u201cThis investment represents an important step in Northwest Bank\u2019s continued growth and transformation. Dublin\u2019s collaborative approach to supporting businesses makes it an ideal location for Northwest Bank\u2019s future headquarters. This move supports our long-term growth strategy, strengthens our ability to attract top talent and positions us for continued success.\u201d<\/p>\n

Northwest Bank\u2019s move is expected to occur in the first half of 2029 with an initial office lease term anticipated to be 15 years. The new headquarters plans call for a purpose-built space that can accommodate an estimated doubling of the current workforce by 2034. Encompassing 75,000 square feet of Dublin, Ohio, office space(opens in new tab)<\/span><\/a>, the property is also expected to include a dedicated financial center on the ground floor, including wealth management advisory services.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcoming Northwest Bank to Dublin is an exciting milestone for our community and for the continued evolution of the Bridge Street District,\u201d said Megan O\u2019Callaghan, Dublin\u2019s city manager. \u201cThis investment reflects the kind of growth we\u2019ve worked to foster by partnering with developers, investing in infrastructure, and creating places where businesses and people can thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Dublin City Council approved an economic development agreement with Northwest Bank, which provides the financial institution with a performance-based incentive equal to 15% of net new employee payroll withholdings generated between 2030 and 2034 and capped at $460,000 during the five-year term, as well as a $50,000 location grant upon execution of the company\u2019s 15-year lease agreement and issuance of an occupancy permit.<\/p>\n

The headquarters relocation announcement comes on the heels of Northwest Bank recently opening its first financial center in New Albany, Ohio, which established its consumer banking presence in the central Ohio region.
