CBRE is right at home with breakthrough technology – three weeks after announcing that the workplace of the future is headed to Philadelphia<\/a>, the commercial real estate giant just unveiled plans to open its first Workplace360 South Florida office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 11th floor of the SunTrust Building, located at 777 Brickell Ave in Miami, will be home to the newest state-of-the-art CBRE work space design revolution, scheduled to open next week.<\/p>\n

In rolling out this initiative globally, CBRE cites research that states employees spend 50 percent of their time working with others – Workplace360 is, therefore, designed to promote flexibility and allow employees to choose their location in the office based on their changing needs throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The 18,921-square-foot office features both collaborative and private spaces, with a strong focus on employee collaboration, as well as hospitality elements and various amenities. The technology-enabled, 100% free-address and paperless office boasts a Liquid Galaxy-powered presentation theater that combines mapping, analytics and modern 3D technology, to deliver an immersive GIS data navigation experience.<\/p>\n

The Class A, 13-story, 288,485-square-foot Miami office<\/a> building was completed in 1980 and has earned the ENERGY STAR rating. The property is also a two-time winner of BOMA\u2019s The Office Building of the Year award. CBRE previously housed more than 50 employees in a 17,327-square-foot space on the building\u2019s ninth floor. The in-house Occupier Advisory & Transaction team in South Florida, led by Shay Pope, represented the firm in the renewal and expansion lease transaction in December of last year.<\/p>\n
