Shared Warehousing Brand Enters Atlanta Industrial Market

SHIFT, a shared space provider with a focus on storage and warehousing, recently announced the opening of its first location in the Atlanta market. Aiming to offer a modern solution to the increasing local demand of small businesses for flexible and collaborative industrial workspaces, SHIFT is preparing to open its new location at 575 Wharton Drive SW on November 19.

Notably, the grand opening comes with the possibility for an Atlanta-based business to win one year of up to 1,000 square feet of warehouse space at the South Fulton location. Specifically, SHIFT is offering a Battle of the Brands Pitch Competition, in which five finalists could pitch and showcase their business to judges at the grand opening. The event is set to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Food, drinks, and entertainment will also be available, in addition to the brand-pitching competition.

SHIFT: South Fulton will offer nearly 70 shared warehousing spaces in addition to more than 10 offices for small local businesses.

Rentable options at the new location include 67 spaces that can be used for storage or work, as well as 13 office spaces. Members also have access to meeting rooms, loading docks, and shared common areas within the community space. Amenities also include advanced security, 24/7 access, and mail and package handling.

The property at 575 Wharton Dr., incorporates roughly 100,000 square feet of Atlanta industrial space.
