Construction Begins on 200 Clayton Project in Denver

Construction has commenced on the Broe Real Estate Group’s eight-story, mixed-use project in the Cherry Creek North neighborhood in Denver. When finished, the building will contain 76,000 square feet of Class A Denver office space for rent in a highly desirable and trafficked area on the corner of “Main and Main” in Cherry Creek. Notably, there’s already significant interest in the project for its premier retail spaces and institutional level offices.

“Demand for 200 Clayton has been exceptional,” said BREG CEO, Doug Wells. “We break ground today 50% pre-leased and continue to see very strong tenant interest in the project.”

Upon completion of 200 Clayton, Broe Real Estate Group will own more than 1.5 million square feet of office space in the Denver market. The group — a subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar investment group, The Broe Group — is also a Colorado-born company. This particular project is part of the initial phase of ongoing development, and solidifies the group’s presence and headquarters in Cherry Creek North. The adjacent building, 252 Clayton, is also the group’s current headquarters in the region.

“Over the past four decades, The Broe Group has grown from one employee to 1,000 employees from our Cherry Creek North headquarters,” said The Broe Group’s Kiki Broe. “200 Clayton plays a key part of our community investment and ensures that Cherry Creek North will continue to be our long-term Colorado home.”

The property at 200 Clayton will be home to both affiliated and unaffiliated companies of The Broe Group. Completion is slated for early 2023, with the overall plan to also include another building on the other side of 252 Clayton to fill out their master plan for this location in the future.

“The Broe Group has been a great long-term community partner and we are pleased to see their continued investment,” said Cherry Creek North President and CEO, Nick LeMasters. “200 Clayton is a tremendous addition to Cherry Creek North that will house hundreds of high-quality jobs for generations to come.”
