Realtor

A Realtor is a licensed real estate professional who is also a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), bound by a strict code of ethics that goes beyond the baseline requirements of state licensing. The term is a trademarked designation and cannot be used by non-members.

Realtors represent buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in commercial transactions. The job spans market analysis, property tours, negotiation, contract preparation, and coordinating the deal, and the code of ethics holds them to act in the client’s interest and deal honestly throughout.
