Prominent Seattle Law Firm Inks Office Lease at West8

Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust company Kilroy Realty recently announced the addition of a new tenant to the roster at West8 — a 28-story, high-end high-rise in the Denny Triangle submarket of Seattle.

Full-service law firm Foster Garvey signed on to occupy 52,000 square feet of premium Seattle office space across 2.5 floors at the property under a 13-year lease. Occupancy is expected to begin in the second half of 2027.

Located at 2001 Eighth Ave., West8 is strategically positioned between the city’s thriving tech hub and established business district, and offers convenient access to regional transit, premier dining, and cultural amenities.

Originally completed in 2009, the property underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2024 that enhanced the arrival experience and introduced a best-in-class amenities floor that was specifically designed to support modern, flexible workstyles.

West8 incorporates more than 521,000 square feet of rentable office space that is LEED Platinum- and Energy Star-certified, in addition to about 18,000 square feet of retail and a nearly 500-space parking structure. Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass; outdoor terraces that take the workplace experience beyond the floorplate; as well as integrated fitness and conference facilities, the property offers an efficient, high-performance environment that was designed to prioritize well-being, connectivity, and long-term value.

Kilroy Realty purchased the tower in 2021 for $490 million. At the time, the property was mostly occupied by Amazon, which remained until 2023.
