Sage Expands HQ Office Space in Atlanta
Multinational enterprise software company Sage is expanding its North American headquarters office space in Atlanta. Located at 619 Ponce De Leon Ave. NE, the firm’s footprint totals 89,000 square feet across three floors and reportedly brings the Ponce City Market property to 100% occupancy.
Sage is a leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses. The organization is set to open its newly expanded headquarters in the fall of this year, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to Atlanta’s rich talent pool and growing innovation ecosystem.
Currently, there are about 450 employees working at Sage’s North American headquarters. The 32,000-square-foot expansion adds another floor to the company’s footprint, which gives Sage the space and flexibility to accommodate an estimated growth of more than 200 additional employees over time.
Designed to fit the needs of how teams work today, the added space contributes to the company’s flexibility, choice, and opportunities to connect. Plans for the space include a variety of environments for focused work, team collaboration, confidential conversations, and social connection.
With increased seating and upgraded amenities, the floor is designed to bring new energy to the office and create an environment where employees can do their best work together.
Since first opening its doors in 2014, Ponce City Market has become a destination for locals to gather, shop, eat, work, and live. Altogether, it’s home to 100 businesses that collectively employ more than 9,000 people. In addition to office space, the 619 Ponce building also includes a 27,000-square-foot retail component that serves tenants and the surrounding community.
“The past year at Ponce City Market has shown us exactly why Atlanta is the right home for Sage in North America,” said Mark Hickman, managing director of North America at Sage. “There’s an energy here that you don’t find anywhere else. By expanding our footprint and investing in the local workforce, we’re signaling a long-term commitment to this city as our North American headquarters. We’re creating more than just office space — we’re building a hub where our people can grow, feel supported, and continue to innovate for our customers.”
