Township 9 is located directly north of downtown Sacramento. There are three phases to the development of the 60 gross acre land site, all of which are currently owned by 29th Street Capital. The first phase, Phase A, is under construction and is the middle portion of the overall site. This will comprise of 372 garden style 3-story walk up apartments, 13,000 SF amenity building, pool, spa, 2 dog parks and new city park.

Phase B is located along the river on the north side of the site and will be comprised of approximately 1,000 condo-quality, multifamily units in multiple mid-rise buildings. Phase B will be highly amenitized and offer a resort style pool, cabanas, lounge areas, game rooms, fitness centers, firepits, BBQ areas, pickleball courts, beach volleyball, dog park and wash, parcel lockers, and an abundance of green space.

Phase C is on the south side of the site located at the light rail stop and runs along Richards Boulevard directly across the street from the 1.3MM SF State of California office complex slated to be delivered in 2025 and house 5,000 employees. State buildings finish construction by April 2024 with 5 departments moving in May-July 2024 and 2 departments moving in January-February 2025. The west half of the Phase C is available for sale and entitled for a 120,000 SF office building. The east portion, on the corner of Richards Boulevard and N 7th Street, will be an approximately 200 key Hyatt Caption brand hotel. The hotel will be in high demand with all the new office and multifamily development taking place in the immediate vicinity.
