concessions on the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. It is the goal of the City to
continue to increase the use of the coast and enhance the overall experience of
waterfront patrons by developing and maintaining innovative eateries, concession
facilities, and services along the coast that offer a distinguished and assorted mix of
concession options.
Since 1995, the City has contracted with independent contractors for the operation
of various food, beverage and rental equipment concessions along the beaches
as well as the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier. These concessions serve unique
aspects of the Long Beach waterfront.
The Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier will be undergoing improvements in 2027
which will include a new dock for Aqualink operations and public dock use,
replacing the two docks damaged during the 2017 storm event. The pier will also
undergo railing and concrete repairs.
