Newton is one of the two or three wealthiest suburbs of Boston. While the Boston/Newton border has a lot of renters, mostly young professionals and Boston College students, the section closer to the Newton/Wellesley border is very affluent with large homes on good size plots of land.  The property is located just off an exit of Rt. 9, the most heavily trafficked east-west highway in the Greater Boston area after I-90 (Mass Pike). It's also close to the intersection of I-95 and Rt 9. Chestnut St itself is heavily trafficked as a destination because of several restaurants, little league fields, and the office/retail park directly across the street.
