Avenue B between East 12th and East 13th Street, in the part of the East Village people call Alphabet City — the far-east strip of Manhattan below 14th Street. It's about two blocks north of Tompkins Square Park and one block south of the 14th Street corridor. L train (1st Ave station) — about 3 blocks northwest, roughly a 5–6 minute walk. This is your primary line, and it's the fast way to Union Square and Williamsburg. M14A/M14D SBS bus — one block north on 14th St, crosstown service. Union Square hub (L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, 6) — about a 12–15 minute walk west. 6 train (Astor Place) — roughly 15 minutes on foot.
