Most coworking spaces are near the airport but not inside it. However, there has been a steady increase in interest in spaces closer to the world’s runways.
For example, Hong Kong-based airport services provider Plaza Premium Group has reportedly expressed an interest in opening and operating coworking spaces in airports. Office space operator Regus and standing desk company VARIDESK (more on them later), are also targeting airports as the perfect coworking spot.

The Ventures coworking space is only five minutes from Houston Hobby International Airport, with monthly rates starting at USD$150.
Spaces Brussels Airport offers monthly rates starting at €233 for coworking access. You can also rent a dedicated desk or office space just a stone’s throw away from the city’s airport. There’s also Interoffices, which is just three minutes away from the airport. You can even try this space for a day for free.
VARIDESK, a company which makes height-adjustable standing desks, has opened a free coworking space in DFW Airport, Terminal C.
It’s open 24/7, so you can just turn up, grab a standing desk and start working. It’s a novel concept with moveable walls if you need a little privacy, free WiFi, and 75 power points.
The Worldmark Business Centre in Aerocity comes with serviced offices and meeting rooms to rent on a flexible basis. Plus, it’s conveniently located at the Aerocity Metro Station and offers quick access to Terminal 3 of the city’s IGI Airport.
Coworking Airport Hamburg is near the city’s airport with monthly rates starting at €200 for an open space or hot desk. There is also parking spaces and meeting rooms that can also be hired.
There are a couple of coworking spaces to choose from at LAX Airport. LAX Coworking is situated at LAX Airport and offers a day rate of just USD$20. There’s also Bizhaus with flex desks starting at USD$175/month.
The Center Hubstart coworking space is available at Charles de Gaulle Airport, with rates starting at €18 per half day or €125 for five days per month.
If you’re flying into San Diego International Airport, the Airspace Lounge in Terminal 2 is available on a pay-per-use basis with rates starting at USD$35 per hour.
The Urban Airport coworking space claims to be the first of its kind in a Latin American airport. Situated in Terminal 2, the space has a wealth of amenities, including a shower and meeting rooms, with hourly rates starting at R$40.
Spaces Schiphol Airport is run in partnership with Microsoft Netherlands to create an AI tech hub in the city airport. Monthly rates start from €225 for coworking access.
