Burbank, CA Commercial Real Estate Market Overview
Similar to many other cities in Southern California, Burbank’s economy revolved around the aeronautics industry for many decades after World War II. However, currently, the city is dominated by media and entertainment companies. As such, demand for commercial real estate in Burbank is fueled by private companies — such as Warner Bros., the Walt Disney Company and Nickelodeon — as well as educational institutions, local government and public services.
Burbank is served by the Hollywood Burbank Airport, which is located in the northwest portion of the city. Additionally, the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC) links the airport to Burbank’s other transportation systems, including regional bus lines and shuttles. Commuters can also ride Metrolink and Amtrak lines, as well as the local public transportation system known as the Burbank Bus.
