David Yurman — a luxury jewelry brand operating across 350 locations in the United States, Canada and France — is expanding its presence within the Tribeca neighborhood: The company announced the renewal and expansion of its lease at 200 Hudson St. for an additional 15 years. David Yurman will also grow its overall footprint to 150,000 square feet within the 12-story building.

Located at the intersection of Hudson and Vestry streets, the 381,000-square-foot property was originally completed in 1927 and is currently part of an extended portfolio of Manhattan office spaces jointly owned and managed by a venture of Trinity Church Wall Street, Norges Bank Investment Manager and Hines operating under the moniker of Hudson Square Properties.

Negotiations were handled by Newmark’s Peter Shimkin and David Falk on behalf of the landlord, while CBRE’s Mary Ann Tighe, Ken Meyerson, Ariel Ball, Alex Leopold and Ali Gordon worked on the deal for David Yurman.

While information about the rent price has not been disclosed to date, the asking rate at the neighboring 205 Hudson St. (also owned by Hudson Square Properties) is in the mid-$60s per square foot.

“David Yurman’s continued commitment to the neighborhood is a testament to the enduring appeal of Hudson Square and Tribeca as a dynamic hub for leading creative companies, particularly fashion and retail brands,” Hines’ Doug Goldhill said. “We are thrilled to continue our long-standing relationship with the brand, adapting to their growth and the changing landscape of in-person work to provide a space that perfectly meets their needs moving forward.”

David Yurman first moved into the Hudson Square building in 2002, when it inked a lease for 65,000 square feet across 2.5 floors. A few years later, the company expanded its headquarters by another 53,500 square feet. Finally, following this most recent deal, the company tacked on an extra 32,200 square feet.

The tenant roster at 200 Hudson already includes the likes of office furniture manufacturer Steelcase, as well as ad firm Havas.
